DIRECTIONS FOR FRANKLIN EXPERIMENT
- Students will journal several times per week about the Virtue of the Week.
- Entries will be placed in a composition book (sealed spine, no spiral-bound notebooks).
- Students should write a minimum of 4 entries/ week; each entry should be a minimum of 1/2 page.
- Subject matter may include attempts at defining the word, thoughts about how you were successful or unsuccessful at living out the virtue, insights as to what motivates your behavior, reflections on steps for improvement, etc.
- Content should be personal without being considered private; it can be honest while also being appropriate.
- Journals should be carried with students AT ALL TIMES, as teachers will collect them randomly.
- Students only HAVE to journal during weeks when school is in session, though they should feel free to write in their journals as much as possible.
- Students may post thoughts on wikispaces, if they wish.
- Students must post quotes with explanations on wikispaces (see instructions on Franklin Experiment Homepage)
- Participants should ask questions if they don't understand something, in an effort to improve the process.
